The Mythos Oracle

What is my archetype?
Let the oracle read your mythos.

Why this is different

Not another personality quiz

A quiz asks you to pick statements. Mythos asks you to speak, follows up, and reads the pattern between the lines. The result is a story with a gift and a shadow — not a label.

01

A conversation

One question at a time. The oracle follows what you actually say — the decision, the hesitation, the person you mention twice.

02

A myth, not a code

Your result is Jiang Ziya, Sun Wukong or Xuanzang — a figure with a story, not a four-letter type.

03

A card to keep

A written portrait and a collectible card in four styles. Something to revisit, download or gift.

The reading

How the oracle reads you

No timer, no score, no right answers. Just a conversation that follows the pattern — and knows when it has seen enough.

I

You speak. It asks.

Tell it about a decision, a conflict, someone who matters. It listens for how you describe the moment, not just what happened.

“A closed door is only a question of how hard to knock.”
II

Eight patterns are weighed.

Behind the questions sit eight archetypes. The oracle looks for the pattern that repeats across different situations — not the one you perform best.

“The river does not hurry, yet it arrives.”
III

Your myth is named.

When the picture is clear, the conversation ends. You receive a reading, your eight scores and the card of your archetype.

“The road does not promise comfort. It promises a wider self.”
The archetypes

Eight doors. One will feel like home.

Each archetype is a pattern with a gift and a shadow. Your result names the one that keeps returning — not the only one you have.

“A myth is not a fact to believe. It is a pattern to notice.”

The Mythos principle

I

Rooted in Jung, told through the East

Archetypes are psychological patterns. We translate eight of them into figures from Chinese mythology, with their history and their shadows intact.

II

An AI that listens, not a quiz that scores

The profiles and boundaries are fixed. The model helps the oracle follow your answers, not invent your personality.

III

A mirror, never a verdict

A reading can comfort you and challenge you. It is not therapy, not a diagnosis and not a prediction. You keep the power to disagree.

Paper, ink wash and a red seal — quiet, literary, unmistakably Eastern.

A result worth keeping

Your reading arrives as a written portrait and a collectible card in four styles. Unlock it, download it, or send it to someone who needs the mirror.

The card is not the reading — it is the door back into it. Each style is a different way of holding the same myth: ink and paper, painted silk, quiet minimalism, or a tarot-like object with a numbered frame.

Before you ask

Questions, answered plainly

Is the archetype test really free?
Your first reading is free when you create an account. The oracle conversation and the written result cost nothing. The collectible card can be unlocked with an invite or a credit pack. No credit card is needed to start.
How is this different from a 12-archetype quiz?
A quiz asks you to pick statements. Mythos holds a short conversation: the oracle follows up, notices how you describe people and choices, and reads the pattern across your answers. The result is an Eastern mythic figure, not another four-letter code.
How long does a reading take?
Most readings take six to ten minutes and around ten exchanges. There is no timer. The oracle ends when it has enough signal, and you can stop at any point.
Is an archetype reading scientifically accurate?
Archetypes are a language for patterns, not a clinical diagnosis. Mythos is built for self-reflection and entertainment. It is not therapy, medical advice, or a prediction of your future. A result is a mirror, not a verdict.
What happens to my conversation?
Messages are processed to produce your reading and stored with your account so you can revisit the result. We do not sell conversation data. Please do not share sensitive personal, medical or financial information with the oracle.
Can I keep the result card?
Yes. Once a card is unlocked you can download a high-resolution image and share it. Free results show the written reading and a blurred preview of the card.
